How do I book?

First, build your wishlist of desired rentals. After submitting your desired items, we will confirm availability and then send a quote for review and approval. See more on our process and features here.


How do deposits and payments work?

Fifty percent (50%) of the rental amount is required to secure your event date, unless agreed upon otherwise. Please note, payments are nonrefundable, regardless of the reason of cancellation. Your remaining balance MUST be paid 14 days prior to the event. If your event is less than 14 days away, full payment is required at the time of booking. For additional fees, see the policies section.


Are there minimum reservation requirements?

Yes, each area we service has a minimum reservation requirement in order for us to accommodate the request. The minimum reservation requirement depends on how far you are from our headquarters. Please review the policy section to determine the minimum reservation requirement for your event location. Please note, the amounts you see are STARTING minimums. The minimum can increase based on distance. If your county/city is not listed, please inquire for more details.


How long will I have access to the items I rent?

All rental periods are for up to 8 hours, from delivery to pick up. Need the item longer? We are happy to work with you to see if we can make the appropriate accommodations.


Do you deliver?

Yes! We do not allow pickups of any of our inventory at this time. Please note, upon our arrival, we do require access to the venue for at least one to two hours before the event start time and one hour for pick up after conclusion of the event to allow us to set up and to remove rentals and decorations. Access must include vehicle parking near the venue entrance.


What if my event is canceled or rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances?

We will certainly work with you in the event of unforeseen cancellations or harsh weather conditions. While all payments are nonrefundable, regardless of the reason, clients are subject to a full company credit for up to six months from the original event date unless otherwise stated. Please be advised, clients are permitted up to 2 rescheduled event dates within a six month period. After this, client must forfeit credit and submit a new wish list and restart the booking process. A rebooking fee is also required once a new date is selected.

Please give 2 weeks prior notice when rescheduling your date.


 

Policies

+ B.Luxe Responsibility

B.Luxe Event Rentals will provide exemplary customer service and be on time to each and every event. B.Luxe Event Rentals will provide quality prop and furniture rentals in the best conditions. B.Luxe does not guarantee rentals items without signs of wear. Please note, all rental periods are for up to 8 hours, from delivery to pick up. B.Luxe Event Rentals has the right to refuse business to anyone.

+ Minimum Reservation Requirements

Rates are subject to change at any time. Amounts listed below are STARTING minimums for each location but could increase based on distance within that county.

MD Counties: Anne Arundel: $800, Baltimore City/County: $700, Carroll: $1000, Cecil: $1100, Charles: $120, Frederick: $1100, Harford: $900, Howard: $900, Montgomery: $1000, Prince George's: $1000

DC & VA: DC: $1,600, Northern Virginia: $1,700

Delaware: $2,000

+ Fees

Late Payments - Failure to make payment 14 days prior to the event will result in a $75 late charge. If the final payment is still not received within 7 days of the event, the late fee increases to $150. Failure to make full payment within 3 days of the event will result in cancellation of the reservation and no refund nor credit will be given.

Late Bookings - Any reservation booked within 5 days of the event date is subject to late booking fees. Late booking fees start at $350.

Damage Waivers - Each rental contract requires a mandatory damage waiver for an additional charge to cover your responsibility for the damage to the merchandise caused in the course of normal use. The Damage Waiver does not cover the repair or replacement costs of items that are misused, mishandled, or otherwise abused (example: a chair breaks when being used as a ladder). The Damage Waiver is 10% of the total rental and covers reasonable, accidental damage to the equipment incurred with normal use. This fee is non-refundable. Repair/replacement charges will be assessed on any equipment due to loss, theft, negligence or abuse, or intentional damage by the client or client's guests. Responsibility for equipment remains with customer from delivery until return. Please be sure equipment is secured when not in use and is protected from weather and irrigation/sprinkler equipment. Broken equipment must be returned in order to for the Damage Waiver to apply.

Additional fees will apply for difficult access (Stairs, No Freight Elevator, etc.).

If drivers arrive to the event during the requested timeframe written in the contract and are unable to obtain B.Luxe Event Rentals' property, client must pay an additional $300 inconvenience fee for later pick up.

*Please note: Prices are for day rentals only up until 12AM. An additional fee will apply for early morning delivery (before 9am) and after hour pickup (after 12am).

+ Damage and Loss

If a rental item is lost or returned to B.Luxe Event Rentals broken or damaged in any way, client will be charged five (5) times the rental cost of the item. Client agrees to provide a valid credit or debit card number at time of reservation, which will be charged by B.Luxe Event Rentals to pay for any such loss or damage. Fees will be due upon billing and B.Luxe Event Rentals will make all reasonable efforts to notify customer of fees before the card is charged. If the card information provided is inaccurate or if for any reason we are unable to collect payment, B.Luxe Event Rentals will start court proceedings, for which the client will be responsible for the total amount owed, court fees and all other applicable fees.

Please be advised, ANY damage to rentals will result in fees being charged for loss/ damage.

Please note, B.Luxe can not control the weather. This damage includes, but; not limited to the following:

Damage caused by: Wind / Water / Extreme heat or cold Damage from moving props

Damage or loss will be assessed as soon as possible after conclusion of the event. All visible damage will be photographed on site whenever possible.

+ Liability

Client is responsible for the safety and reliability of the event venue and its furnishings. Client is also responsible for any injury, loss, death or damage from B.Luxe Event Rentals employees or equipment resulting from the conduct of event attendees and of staff not employed by B.Luxe Event Rentals. Client shall indemnify B.Luxe Event Rentals against any claim, action, damages, and liability, including attorneys’ fees, arising or connected with customer’s use and possession of the rental property.

+ Changes to Order

Once you have completed the initial booking process and made the appropriate payment, your rentals are officially reserved for your event. Please note, clients may ONLY add items to the reservation, subject to the same terms, once a booking has been confirmed.

Any information collected from our customers will not be sold, shared, or rented to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this privacy statement.
